"Can't I just go to a quick lube for my oil changes?"
We regularly fix the mistakes made by the quick lubes. You get what you pay for.
"The parts store diagnosed my Check Engine Light and I just want the part changed."
The parts store is designed to sell you a part, not diagnose your car. Pulling a code with a scanner is only a small part of the process required to properly fix a vehicle. Think of it like ordering a pizza and only giving them your zip code. We need to go through our diagnostic procedure to guarantee a fix for your car the first time!
"Why are you more expensive than the quick lube?"
Simply put, you receive a superior product and experience at Astro Autosport. Quality parts and technicians have a higher cost than what is offered most elsewhere. It's important that our team is compensated properly so that they can lead happy lives away from the workshop. Also, while we want to get you back on the road efficiently, we want to make sure that time and care are taken to give you an excellent product that you can have confidence in.
"Do you only service European vehicles?"
While most of our clients have Euros, we welcome all makes and models! In fact, we service Miatas and MX-5's on a regular basis!
"Can I bring my own parts? I bought them for cheaper on Amazon"
There are many reasons why we don't accept client-provided components.
To be blunt, we are a parts reseller and have to profit on the parts we sell. Otherwise we would have to charge astronomical labor rates.
We also offer a labor warranty on the parts we sell. We guarantee it will fit. We guarantee it is the part that will fix your problem. If there is an issue, we will take care of it so you don't have to. Amazon does not offer any of this.
And lastly, counterfeit parts are a significant problem when buying from Amazon.
